How Sidelane price drop alerts work

You pick the price. Sidelane watches it on this computer. When you ask Sidelane to watch an item, it stores that product title, URL, and price on this computer. It rechecks about every two hours and shows a notice when the price is lower. Watching 3 prices is free. Watching more than 3 is a subscription.

What the alert is

The notice stays on this computer. Opening it, or the item from the Sidelane menu, clears the count on the toolbar icon. The product you watched is not sent to Sidelane and is not used for ads.

You can stop alerts, open the store, or remove the item from your list.

What it does not do

An alert is a change in the price Sidelane can see for that item. It is not a promise about shipping, tax, or a coupon that was not printed on the page.
