A lookalike is not the same item
Almost the same name. Not the same thing. A lookalike can be one letter off, a smaller size, or a pack of two. Exact matches come first. A similar listing is marked so the cheaper row does not win by looking familiar.
The bottle that was half the size
You click because the name matches and the price is kind. On the next page the ounces changed, or the pack went from one to two, or the model grew an extra letter. You would have taken home something else and called it a deal.
The search can use the title together with the model and the UPC when those are on the page you started from. A localized AI on this computer reads the title and price for that, and the reading stays here.
Read the mark, then decide
FairRobin puts exact matches first and marks the similar ones. If you wanted the item on the first page, stay with those, even when a lookalike is cheaper.
